We are inviting a Middle Game Designer to join our team to work on new game features in a HOPA genre project — from design documentation to release. You will work on features from the idea and technical specification stage through to release and subsequent result analysis. You will collaborate with analysts, developers, the content team, and QA to bring the feature to the desired gameplay and business outcomes. You will support assigned mechanics, analyze their effectiveness, and seek ways to improve them.
Your responsibilities:
Develop new features from technical specification to post-release analysis, communicating with other departments to execute feature development;
Analyze released features with the analytics department, formulating proposals to improve specific mechanics/features;
Support assigned features/mechanics;
Study the casual games market and trends;
Define KPIs for new functionalities.
Required skills and experience:
Experience in developing features for casual games as a Game Designer — at least 2 years;
Passion for games, knowledge of the casual games market and mechanics;
Knowledge of game engine capabilities and specifics, as well as their tools;
Task management skills using task trackers;
Ability to work with analytical data;
Ability to convey ideas to the content team through references and sketches, and find optimal solutions;
Experience in creating and optimizing pipelines, writing project documentation;
High level of self-organization and time management.
Nice to have:
Experience in creating level design for mini-games.
