Job Description:

We’re looking for a thoughtful and adaptable HR Business Partner with demonstrated project management experience to join our team. In this role you will report to the Senior Director HR, Call of Duty with dotted line reporting to the Senior Director, People Strategy & Operations. You’ll work closely with leaders and managers across the Mobile group — acting as a trusted HR advisor as they navigate growth, change, and day-to-day people challenges, while contributing to broader people initiatives through data analysis, project management, and assessment of best practices.

Key HRBP Responsibilities with Mobile Team:

  • Provide day-to-day coaching to leadership, managers and employees on actions to enhance team effectiveness and enable growth and performance.
  • Drive integrity and quality for core people programs: Annual Performance cycle, Compensation Planning, Signals Survey completion and action plans, Talent Assessment, Development plans, and ad-hoc HR initiatives.
  • Provide guidance on employee-related topics including team health, development, and workplace concerns — partnering with ER and Workplace Integrity teams when needed.
  • Lead or support change efforts that affect teams, ensuring transitions are smooth and thoughtful.
  • Use people data to guide decisions and identify trends that inform HR strategy.

Key Responsibilities with People Strategy & Operations:

  • Take ownership of HR-related events and initiatives at the Activision Headquarters — including onboarding, learning sessions and service award celebrations.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional team members to deliver coordinated solutions that support global people strategy.
  • Represent Activision HR on cross-functional project teams (e.g., HR Data Integrity, Employee Signals).
  • Develop executive-ready materials that drive business decisions.
  • Drive change management through clear change plans and timely leadership communications.

Player Profile — Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or client-facing generalist role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter who can identify problems, outline solutions, and drive execution.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making and quantitative skills, including strong organizational abilities (Intermediate to Expert Excel capabilities).
  • Experience creating and/or executing change management plans and influencing leadership.
  • Proven success managing strategic projects and initiatives with cross-functional leadership.
  • Comfort using facts and data to build people-centric business cases.
  • Exceptional project and process management skills.
  • Collaborative spirit, willingness to learn, and a drive to keep improving processes.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to gain trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience directly supporting leaders and managers to improve people decisions and business results.

Extra Points:

  • Experience supporting teams in tech, media, gaming, or high-growth environments.
  • High interest in AI with some hands-on experience using it in your work.
  • Solid understanding of California and broader US employment law.
  • PHR / SPHR or PMI certification.
