VFX Programmer (Contract):

Below you will find some information on the role:
- Creating and integrating various VFX systems inside UE5 engine (Niagara),
- Extending UE5 VFX systems to suit VFX Artists needs,
- Working closely with Technical Animators/Gameplay Programmers on implementing various gameplay driven effects.
Job requirements:
Feel free to apply if you have:
- Knowledge of UE5 VFX system (Niagara),
- Knowledge of UE5 material system,
- Good knowledge of C++ (in the context of VFX programming in UE5 (creating and managing Niagara systems, emiters, dataInterfaces, etc.)),
- Practical knowledge of current trends and solutions in VFX creation pipeline, teamwork skills,
- English skills that allow you to communicate on an everyday basis.
It would be also nice to have:
- 3D vector and math skills,
- Practical knowledge of HLSL,
- Some experience with 3D software (Maya, Houdini),
- Practical knowledge fo Niagara fluid solvers (2D and 3D fluid grids),
- Creating C++ plugins to aid VFX Artists (content importing plugins from Houdini, etc.),
- Ability to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision,
- Being a fan of horror genre (books, movies etc.).
