We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge. We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.
Position summary:
Title: Marketing Specialist. Location: Bielsko-Biała (company) — position can be worked fully remotely or in a hybrid model. Salary shown on the posting: 8 300 - 10 000 PLN GROSS/MONTHLY.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day marketing operations and assist the PR & Marketing Manager in coordinating ongoing projects.
- Manage communication with external partners, agencies, platforms, and business counterparts.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing activities for PC and console releases, including Steam visibility and game discovery efforts.
- Coordinate creation and delivery of marketing assets, working closely with a graphic designer, community manager, and business development team.
- Oversee merchandising tasks, such as collaborating with suppliers, preparing orders, and tracking inventory.
- Monitor merchandise and marketing trends.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, briefs, and marketing workflows (using Jira, Miro, Asana etc.).
- Support internal and external event preparations (digital festivals, expos, announcements).
- Analyze basic performance data and provide insights to improve marketing efforts.
- Contribute creative ideas to strengthen the brand and player engagement.
- Execute marketing tasks in a timely manner and follow industry trends.
- Attend marketing tradeshows and conferences.
- Participate in budget estimation and maintenance, in cooperation with the financial department.
- Cooperate with publishers and/or contractors.
- Maintain the company's online store and search for new solutions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar position in the video game industry or related (at least 2 years).
- English (B2 at least) and fluent Polish (required).
- Analytical skills to track marketing trends in the video games industry.
- Knowledge of Steam backend and game discoverability basics.
- Knowledge of marketing tools such as Metricool, Jira, Miro, or alternatives.
- Deep understanding of brand communications, social, and gaming ecosystem.
- Strong attention to detail and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work independently and with a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Understanding of video game industry trends.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive/internal information.
- Creative flair with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have:
- E-commerce experience.
- Experience using social media planning/scheduling platforms (HootSuite, Metricool, Later, ContentStudio, Sprout Social, Loomly, etc.).
- Understanding of influencer relations or PR processes.
- Ability to hand-code basic HTML.
- Experience with one graphic design tool (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or Figma).
- Passion for PC/console games, indie games, or game communities.
