    Role Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Team Lead to spearhead product development, delivering best-in-class solutions for our gamers and driving future innovation and success. In this role, you will build and manage a high-performing team, leverage your leadership, strategic planning, and technical expertise to ensure the delivery of innovative and impactful solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and manage a high-performing product team optimized for achieving set goals
    • Own the product delivery end-to-end, including planning, resourcing, execution, communication, and continuous improvements based on performance metrics (DORA, SPACE)
    • Engage in hands-on development as needed to support team and project goals
    • Co-own the product backlog and roadmap together with the product manager and product designer, contributing a technology perspective
    • Make and steer decisions towards maximizing product impact
    • Continuously develop product engineering culture and maintain high software engineering standards

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a team manager, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
    • At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, ideally within e-commerce, B2C, or gaming industries
    • At least 2 years of hands-on commercial experience delivering front-end (preferably Angular) or back-end (PHP7/8, preferably Symfony) applications
    • Proven ability to design and implement solutions in complex systems, including technology choices and architectural decisions
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide feedback with care and empathy and challenge the status quo
    • Experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams (e.g., performance management)
    • Strong focus on customer perspective and tangible outcomes
    • Cross-functional collaboration skills and fluent English proficiency
    • Passion for games and the gaming industry

    Nice to Have

    • Previous experience in product-led businesses
    • Experience with high-scale web applications
