We are building a new, foundational engineering team in Poland to drive the next evolution of our studio's biggest title. As the Team Lead, you will have the unique opportunity to influence our core technology and engineering culture from day one.

- Drive the technical vision and architectural design for key game components, ensuring our code is performant, scalable, and sets a high standard for quality.
- Partner closely with producers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate concepts into a clear technical roadmap, ensuring your team delivers high-quality features on schedule.
- Act as a crucial bridge between engineering and other disciplines, championing elegant solutions that bring our game's creative vision to life for millions of players.
- Champion and implement engineering best practices, from robust code reviews to automated testing, continuously improving our development pipelines and overall efficiency.
- Solve our most complex technical challenges, unblock your team and ensure the technical foundation of our game is stable, secure and up to date with modern system design.
Job requirements:
This is the right job for you if you have:
- Extensive professional experience, 5-7+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a mentorship or lead engineer role.
- Deep expertise in modern C++ with a strong grasp of software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- A proven track record of shipping games, having played a key role in the development and launch of at least one commercial title on PC, console, or mobile.
- A passion for mentoring and developing engineers, with demonstrable experience in conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and helping others grow their skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical ideas to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Practical experience with game engines.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a solid understanding of project planning, task estimation, and delivering on a predictable schedule.
- A genuine love for video games and a deep desire to contribute to a fun, creative, and player-focused project.
Surprise us with:
- Strong practical experience with more than one game engine like Godot, Unreal Engine, Unity, Amazon Lumberyard or proprietary engines.
- Experience with the challenges of a live-service game, including backend infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and live ops support.
- A background that touches on other game development disciplines, like technical art, game design or data analytics.
