    Job Description

    Requirements:

    • Experience as CTO / Head of Engineering in a software product startup OR as a Software Engineering Team Lead in an autonomous team within a medium/large software product company;
    • Software Engineering experience of 8+ years (backend or full-stack);
    • Experience in ML/AI projects for 3+ years (Python);
    • Product-oriented thinking (start with user, problem first);
    • Willingness to work in an early stage startup;
    • Fluent in English or Russian.

    Will be a plus:

    • Experience in designing architectures, building, and launching commercial applications based on LLM (Langchain/Langfuse, TGI / vLLM);
    • Experience with .Net, JavaScript and Kotlin;
    • Experience with full-stack development;
    • Experience with usage of the LLM-based solutions in daily workflow (ChatGPT, CoPilot, JetBrains AI Assistant, etc).

    Main task pool:

    • Drive the team to make most efficient and forward-looking architecture decisions in LLM-based application design (agentic systems, vector search tools, data pipelines, IDE plugins, fine-tuned models);
    • Setup and facilitate team’s R&D process (experiment design & execution, idea generation, setting up quality controls);
    • Ensure efficient delivery of team’s increment;
    • Mentor, supervise the team of 3-6 engineers;
    • Work as a backend engineer as a part of the scrum team.
