Playtika is looking for an expert in machine learning to join our team and build efficient, data-driven artificial intelligence systems, and accelerate their adoption across Playtika.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning systems using Python, in addition to knowledge in the Generative AI (GenAI) domain.

As a senior ML Engineer, you will:

• Understand business objectives and assist in development of the correct infrastructure to achieve them, alongside metrics to track their value.
• Consult with managers and stakeholders to determine the solution objective and its expected value.
• Design, develop and maintain GenAI systems.
• Solve complex problems with large-scale, multi-modal data sets, and optimize model performance on GPUs.
• Study and transform data science prototypes and apply appropriate machine learning algorithms and tools.
• Train, retrain, and monitor GenAI systems and models in production environment affecting millions of players.
• Stay up to date with machine learning and GenAI developments across the industry.
• Collaborate with other scientists, engineers, architects and analysts spread across several countries.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer, ML/GEN-AI Engineer, or a similar role, with a consistent record of successfully delivering ML solutions.
• High proficiency in Python with extensive experience in PyTorch, transformers, diffusers or other Gen-related modules.
• Extensive experience in API development (FastAPI/Django/Flask or similar).
• Strong knowledge of CUDA programming and GPU-based inference/training.
• Experienced working with Docker and on Kubernetes environment.
• Experience with data processing workloads.
• Passionate about learning innovative technologies and an autodidact.
• Experience with OpenCV, diffusion models, LoRA fine-tuning, or Hugging Face Diffusers – big advantage.
