As Technical Audio Designer at Remedy you will be responsible for ensuring that the audio fidelity, integration and audio pipelines are of the highest possible standard and serve the game vision.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
In this role, you will be working with the project audio team on designing workflows, pipelines and audio systems for our games
Along with the audio team, you will also work together with the core game team and other cross-functional teams on building pipelines, designing and implementing features and ensuring technical integrity from the conception of a project to the shipping title
You will closely collaborate with other disciplines like engine programmers, audio programmers, level design, game design, VFX, animation, to create an emotional and high-quality experience for the players
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
You are highly experienced with game engines like Unity, Unreal, CryEngine etc. and how audio systems interact with them
You are very familiar with software development processes and how large teams of disparate knowledge work together on a common goal
You’re highly skilled using scripting languages (preferably Lua) and audio middleware such as Wwise, FMOD, Elias
You are equally comfortable working with modern DAWs and sound editors such as Reaper and RX
You are comfortable taking pre-emptive and knowledgeable action to keep the audio running smoothly and efficiently on all platforms
You understand and relish the place Technical Audio Design has at the convergence of traditional audio disciplines and game development
You thrive working in a team environment, sharing ideas and learning from others. You are used to collaborating with other development teams across different departments and you effectively communicate and present your ideas in a clear and coherent way.
You can also work independently, being organized and able to document your work.
