What is this job all about:

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be at the heart of data-driven decision-making for our games. You’ll analyze large datasets, design experiments, and build models that improve engagement, monetization, and retention. Your insights will shape gameplay and impact millions of players worldwide.

What will you be doing:

  • Identifying opportunities to apply data science and machine learning to improve game performance, monetization, and player retention.
  • Collaborating with development and production teams to analyze game performance, retention, churn, and other metrics.
  • Writing complex SQL queries and transforming raw data into actionable insights.
  • Setting KPIs and initiating hypotheses for A/B tests aimed at optimizing revenue throughout the player lifecycle.
  • Proactively sharing insights with the game team, suggesting process improvements, and shaping analytics practices.
  • Creating and maintaining clear, interactive dashboards and decision-support tools.
  • Developing robust data pipelines and feature engineering processes in collaboration with data engineering teams.

What are we looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data science, data analytics, or a similar analytical role.
  • High level of initiative and result orientation, ability to work independently, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to turn complex data into simple and impactful insights.
  • Strong coding skills in Python (experience with libraries such as numpy, pandas, scikit-learn).
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering) and statistical methods.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
  • Fluency in Polish and English (minimum B2).
