Your Mission

You'll join us to provide support for developers on build tools, automation, and validation processes (this is not a traditional IT hardware role).

In some cases, you can directly solve problems, and in others, you can connect the right developers to resolve issues. By surveying our automated testing and continuous integration tools, you can prevent or minimize downtime by making developers aware of new breakage. You will help investigate crashes and errors in both the development and live environments. Qualified candidates need to be agile and self-starters.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to issues encountered with software automation
  • Drive resolutions across multiple departments to maintain build stability
  • Provide support on build tools, automation, and validation processes (not traditional IT hardware support)
  • Investigate and validate reported issues

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of game industry-related experience
  • Previous experience with automated software test tools and scripting
  • Systems integration, verification, and validation experience
  • Familiarity with the entire game development life cycle
  • Experience with discrepancy reporting systems (e.g. JIRA)
  • Experience in QA, build engineering, or game testing (experience on Call of Duty or other AAA titles is a strong plus)
  • Ability to police the code base, validating changes across branches to maintain stability
  • Familiarity with tracking revisions and changes in Perforce
  • Clear communication skills, both written and oral
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
