    Job description

    As a VFX Artist, you will:

    • Collaborate with the art team to upgrade existing visuals and create new in-game visual effects

    • Design and implement compelling on-screen effects and particle systems

    • Take ownership of shader creation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance

    • Provide dedicated support in advancing the visual fidelity of the game through technical and artistic solutions

    Job requirements

    Requirements:

    • Availability to work in our Warsaw office in a hybrid mode (3 days in the office, 2 days remotely) - non-negotiable

    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the gaming industry, or at least 1 shipped title

    • Portfolio showcasing real-time effects

    • Experience in designing, implementing and optimizing high-quality visual effects in Unreal Engine 5

    • Experience in creating, optimizing and integrating shaders

    • Experience in redesigning Niagara Systems to design use cases

    • Collaborative and problem-solving mindset

    • Fluent English (B2)

    Nice to have:

    • Proficiency in Houdini and Embergen

    • Experience in working on steampunk games

    • Familiarity with Blueprints for VFX integration and interactive effects

    • Proficiency in Photoshop and 3d software of choice (e.g., Blender, Maya)

    • Strong interest in video games
