Hiring in Los Angeles, CA (Relocation required)
Infinity Ward is looking for a dedicated Expert Animation Engineer with a strong interest in crafting high fidelity, scalable animation systems and behaviors. From sophisticated gunplay and locomotion to solidifying our characters in the environments they inhabit, the successful candidate will tackle a wide variety of engineering challenges to deliver believability and style across diverse situations and gamemodes.
Responsibilities:
- Work with animators and other engineers to design, prototype, and implement new features to continuously improve character fidelity and believability at increasing scale and complexity.
- Develop and upgrade workflows to allow efficient building, improvement and debugging of animation behaviors by animators and engineers alike.
- Support and proactively collaborate with team members at Activision studios across the world.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional programming experience with a focus on skeletal animation.
- Proficiency in C/C++ in multithreaded environments.
- Strong 3D math and linear algebra.
Bonus Points:
- Experience programming on multiple game consoles.
- Experience with first-person shooters and multiplayer action games.

Compensation:
In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is 121,500.00 - 224,880.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Specific offers will be based on experience, performance, and work location. In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation (not guaranteed). New hire compensation is negotiable.
