  • Reporting To: Associate Director of Product
  • Department: Call of Duty: Mobile Product Team
  • Location: Santa Monica, California (Hybrid - 3 days in office/week)

Your Mission:

As Senior Product Manager, Monetization, you are part of a team responsible for driving the success of cosmetic content and monetization initiatives on Call of Duty: Mobile. This includes overall cosmetic content strategy, IP integrations, monetization systems, and pricing. You will work with analysts and researchers to improve understanding of monetization opportunities and player problems, partner with development partners at Tencent in China to ideate and align on roadmap, build and launch monetization initiatives, and evaluate performance using A/B tests, analysis, and research.

What you bring to the table:

  • Drive the execution and success of monetization initiatives
  • Generate a deep understanding of player needs, motivations, and pain points related to monetization to identify future opportunities
  • Align on strategy and roadmap for monetization systems, prioritizing impactful opportunities
  • Ensure new initiatives have clear goals and evaluate performance using A/B tests, research, and analysis, synthesizing learnings to improve the game

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or other relevant role
  • Experience using SQL, Tableau, Excel, or other analytical tools to generate insights from data
  • Ability to clearly synthesize insights from analysis and research to diagnose root causes and inform initiatives
  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Strong execution skills with bias to action and a track record in improving metrics
  • Deep understanding of monetization systems and cosmetic content economies on a free-to-play mobile game
  • Able to do evening meetings with partners in China (typically no more than once or twice a week)

Extra Points:

  • Experience using research to uncover customer problems and opportunities
  • Basic understanding of statistics, including experience with A/B testing
  • Experience working on mobile shooter games or similar games
  • Strong structured and critical thinking skills, able to define a strategy and build a plan to hit goals

Compensation:

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $134,320.00 - $248,404.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Specific range and offer will be based on factors including experience, performance, and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for incentive compensation (not guaranteed). New hire compensation is negotiable.
