Bohemia Interactive is seeking a talented Game Designer to join a team that‘s working on an unannounced title. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of game design principles, a passion for creating engaging gameplay experiences, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams. This role involves designing and prototyping gameplay systems, maintaining clear and detailed documentation, and aligning design visions with project goals while reporting to the Lead Designer.

Job Description

  • Design systems from concept to completion

  • Produce written design proposals and design documentation

  • Cooperate on implementing game mechanics, playable content, and assets

  • Make technical analyses and drive the implementation of new gameplay principles

  • Participate in regular play sessions and check the state of features 

  • Continuously seek to improve the game

  • Take part in creative proposals

Education/Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience designing game systems and mechanics

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Creativity combined with an analytical approach to design

  • Ability to convey ideas and to provide a clear formalization of complex concepts

  • Ability to give and receive feedback

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Passion for video games
