- Build powerful tools, editor extensions, and innovative workflows within Unreal Engine 5 that accelerate world generation and AI-assisted content creation.
- Strategically leverage existing generative AI models, and spearhead initiatives to fine-tune them with in-house game assets where appropriate.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Act as the studio's authority on emerging technologies in procedural generation, generative AI, and real-time engine features.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with academic researchers and middleware vendors to bring cutting-edge solutions into the development pipeline.
- Mentor team members, elevating their skills and promoting the effective, creative use of new procedural and AI-driven systems.
- Inspire innovation while defining the standards and best practices that will guide procedural and AI development and ensure successful adoption of new technologies.

- A proven track record of shipping multiple titles in a senior individual contributor role (e.g., Principal Engineer, Technical Architect, or Lead Developer).
- Exceptional expertise with Unreal Engine 5, including C++ programming, blueprinting, and a profound understanding of engine architecture for both tools and runtime.
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing sophisticated procedural content generation systems from the ground up.
- Demonstrable experience integrating and leveraging generative AI technologies to solve complex challenges within game development pipelines.
- Expertise in procedural asset creation and tooling, with proficiency in relevant industry-standard software and a forward-thinking approach to pioneering new solutions.
- Strong command of modern game development pipelines, software engineering best practices, and building scalable systems.
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to lead ambitious technical initiatives and inspire adoption of new technologies across multiple teams.
