About the job

We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge.
We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.

Responsibilities

  • Creating UI mockups, and clickable prototypes in Unreal Engine.

  • Producing and implementing graphic UI elements into the game.

  • Cooperating with the Gameplay Design and Programming department in supporting the game's mechanics with user friendly UI/UX solutions.

  • Cooperating with the Art department in creating and maintaining consistent UI artstyle.

Requirements

  • Good Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop artistic skills for UI elements creation.

  • Knowledge of modern solutions and trends in interface design.

  • Work experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.

  • Familiarity with UMG (build in Unreal Motion Graphics UI Designer).

  • Basic knowledge of Blueprints system in Unreal Engine 4/5.

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5 Material Editor.

  • Ability to maintain order in files.

  • Knowledge of English that allows reading technical documentation with understanding (min. B2).

  • Independence in performing tasks.

  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a group.

  • Creativity in solving problems.

  • Refraining from using AI generative tools to produce imagery for this job.

Nice to have

  • UI animation experience.

  • Work experience with RPG games.
