Finance Manager — GOG:
Join GOG’s Finance & Legal team as a Finance Manager reporting to the VP of Finance. Lead a small FP&A team and turn financial reporting into actionable insights, while improving, automating, and optimising financial processes.
Key goals (first 6–12 months):
- 6 months: Streamline monthly management reporting — own, optimise and automate the monthly reporting process; provide the management financial deck with key business messages and insights; achieve zero mistakes in numbers and shorten the reporting deadline to 8 days after month-end.
- 6 months: Cash Flow Reporting & Analysis — implement tools and processes to provide accurate, timely and actionable cash flow reports, delivering a clear narrative of what happened and key insights to guide future actions.
- 12 months: Demonstrate business understanding & strategic direction — develop a profound understanding of the business and translate insights into the annual Budget 2027 presentation with financial storytelling for stakeholders (under VP guidance).

Responsibilities:
- Provide Monthly Management Reporting (including business narration, comments and deviations to the Budget/Forecast for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow)
- Create, update and maintain financial models for detailed Budgets and periodic Forecasts
- Prepare Management Presentation for budgeting processes
- Support month-end closing processes
- Recommend changes to improve financial performance and processes across the finance team
- Develop new controlling tools to bring automation and efficiency improvements
- Perform profitability analysis of investment projects
- Accountable for Treasury area (including hedging policy)
- Support financial projects and other ad-hoc duties per management needs
Requirements & qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, financial controlling and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of relevant IFRS accounting principles
- Deep understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Experience preparing management presentations and providing key narrative to financial performance
- Deep understanding of FX impact in multi-currency global business operations
- Good understanding of general tax processes and rules
- Minimum 5 years of team management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel); Power Query knowledge is a significant plus
- Strong coordination, planning and organisation skills; ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Problem-solving, initiative, accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive attitude, leadership and a collaborative, friendly communication style
