Company Description

Milestone is a company founded in 1996 that develops and publishes worldwide multiplatform video games. In its line-up are both titles based on prestigious licenses such as MotoGP and Supercross and proprietary IP.

Position

As a Combat Designer, you will be responsible for the design, prototyping and implementation of combat systems in our games.

You’ll collaborate with other designers, programmers and artists to create combat mechanics that know how to entertain the player.


Your duties will include:

- Design and balancing of combat mechanics.

- Creation of detailed documentation for combat systems.

- Collaboration with the development team to implement and test game mechanics.

- Analysis and continuous improvement of combat mechanics based on player feedback.

Requirements

- Passion for video games and a good knowledge of combat systems.

- Ability to work in teams and communicate effectively.

- Basic knowledge of game development software (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine).

- Previous experience in game design as a combat designer (also personal or academic projects).

- Knowledge of systems such as Behavior Tree, Hierarchical Goal Network (HGN), or similar for the management of AI combat.

- Specialization in shooting system.
