YOUR MISSION:
- Own the economy - work with the balancing team and take ownership of the game economy for live titles: monitor resource economy using analytics dashboards, identify improvements and risks, iterate on sinks and sources, and work with Product to balance monetization and retention.
- Model and simulate economic flows to predict player behavior and identify balance issues or exploit paths before they happen.
- Develop and implement monetization systems that support long-term revenue while enhancing player satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and design teams to align economy design with player motivations, content cadence, and live operations strategy.
- Create and manage A/B testing plans to validate hypotheses around progression pacing, event rewards, and pricing strategies.
- Establish best practices and documentation for economy tracking, balance tuning, and design rationale, ensuring systems are measurable and adaptable.
- Stay ahead of F2P trends by benchmarking against successful farming, simulation, and mid-core management titles.
YOUR BACKSTORY:
- Several years of experience in F2P games or working on at least one shipped title and/or a successful live title in monetization design roles.
- Deep understanding of LiveOps dynamics, monetization strategies, in-game economies and community feedback.
- Hands-on with tools like Google Sheets, ChatGPT or similar.
- Resilient, detail-oriented team player with a drive to get things done.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
