PLWe are Ovid Works, creators of Interkosmos, Interkosmos 2000 and Metamorphosis. We aim at creating unique, high-quality video games which are not afraid to push boundaries of the genre.
We are looking for an experienced Concept Artist who will help us shape our next project for the PC and console market. If you are a driven, disciplined individual, who likes to think outside the box and break conventions, we’ll be happy to meet you!
Core responsibilities:
Working closely with designers and other stakeholders to shape a unique vision for the game.
Proposing solutions to design and art questions through concepts.
Visual Communication of environments and Characters' look and feel.
Creation of production quality imagery.
Required skills and experience:
Stylistic flexibility – the ability to work in both realistic and stylized styles, depending on the needs of the project.
Understanding of the game asset creation process – familiarity with the production pipeline (2D → 3D → engine), enabling the creation of concepts that support efficient production.
Basic knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 – ability to navigate a project, preview assets, and understand how a concept translates into a final asset in the engine.
Experience in creating game concepts – minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a concept artist in the game industry.
Portfolio – a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of concept works, ideally including examples of game-ready assets.
Teamwork skills – good communication, openness to feedback, and willingness to iterate on concepts.
Independence – ability to organize one's own workflow and a proactive approach to solving visual problems.
Tool proficiency – fluency in Photoshop. Bonus: Blender, 3DCoat, ZBrush (for blocking out compositions).
