Are you passionate about designing detailed and visually stunning hard-surface concepts for AAA games? We are currently seeking a skilled 2D Artist to join our team. As a 2D Artist you will contribute to the creation of high-quality assets that enhance the game's realism and aesthetic appeal. Your primary responsibility will be designing and illustrating assets that align with our project and studio standards. With your creativity and keen eye for detail, you'll craft visually compelling weaponry that enrich the gaming experience.
Responsibilities
Create detailed and high-quality hard-surface assets that meet project and studio standards
Be ready to reskin 2D hard-surface assets
Work with Lead Artists to ensure timely completion of game assets
Communicate regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
Obtain Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
Coordinate with Senior and/or Lead Artists with mentoring Junior 2D Artists as well as sharing best project practices
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of lighting, coloring, perspective and composition
Advanced knowledge of Photoshop as well as some knowledge of 3D tools (Blender) and pipeline
Ability to concept with a high degree of ideation utilizing techniques that enhance speed and revision work
Advanced knowledge of sketching/ illustration/speedpainting, and ability to concept weapons and vehicles
Ability to adapt artwork based on constructive feedback
Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
