Opis stanowiska

Supercell is offering an opportunity to learn about localization and take first steps toward a career as a Localization Manager or Project Manager.

What will you be doing?

Work closely with Supercell’s internal Localization team, internal game teams, and external Localization teams. You will be exposed to a wide variety of localization and translation-related projects to understand work as a Localization Manager or Project Manager at Supercell. Help and observe internal and external Localization Project Managers in day-to-day operations, explore new tech solutions, and handle requests related to game texts, support materials, community texts, marketing campaigns, game subtitles, and scripts. Specific tasks will be assigned based on your skills and interests.

What makes you a great fit?

  • Ideal for a student or recent graduate from a language or translation background, or from a technical field (language technology, digital humanities, information technology) with proven personal interest in localization (e.g., personal projects, coursework, or research related to localization, machine translation, or LLMs).
  • At least 180 ECTS credits (or equivalent) of studies completed.
  • Curiosity about localization and translation-related matters in a creative industry.
  • Proactive, communicative working style; eager to ask questions and learn.

“My experience as a Supercell intern was amazing, and I can definitely recommend it to anyone interested in game translation and the localization industry! You will have a lot of influence over what you want to focus on, which makes this internship a great opportunity to explore both your interests within localization and take responsibility for a project of your own. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside the translators and project managers, so your experience is not only limited to the work in the Helsinki office. Personally I found the aspect of localization I am passionate about here, and it has helped me to decide where to pursue a career after my internship. I truly enjoyed my experience, and the team made me feel welcome from the very first day!”

Why you will love it at Supercell:

  • See localization infrastructure and tools in action and understand games’ production process.
  • An insider view into a mobile games company.
  • Fair compensation and benefits.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Chance to spend a month working as a Project Manager with the external Localization team at a partner location.
  • Supportive international colleagues.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 180 ECTS credits (or equivalent) of language/translation/technical studies completed.
  • Interest toward a Project Manager/Manager career in localization.
  • Eagerness to learn and an active, independent working style.
  • Full working proficiency in English.
  • Understanding of localization tools (subtitling tools, content management tools, project management tools) and translation processes.

What we consider as an asset:

  • Earlier work experience in general.
  • Technical background / tech-savviness.
  • Other language skills.
  • Passion for games and the games industry.

Practicalities:

This is a full-time, fixed-term position (4 months) employed directly by Supercell. Preferred starting date: Winter / Spring 2026, ideally in January. The position is located at Supercell's headquarters in Helsinki. Flexible working hours are offered and occasional remote work is possible. During the internship there is a chance to travel to one of Supercell's Localization partner locations to work as a Project Manager for one month.

Applications: Send your CV and motivation letter in PDF format by the latest on Nov 3rd 2025 via aTalent’s job portal. Please mention your salary request and preferred starting date in your application documents. Applications by email are not accepted. This position is located in Finland and requires a valid work permit in Finland.
