Below you will find some of the responsibilities on the role:
CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment)
Game build automation (e.g. daily builds for different platforms – PC, consoles, Unreal Engine based),
Pipeline configuration for unit, integration, performance testing using unreal FTests / Gauntlet
Deploying game versions to test or live environments (e.g. patch updates (PC and consoles))
Development process automation (building binaries for distribution, building HLODs, generating engine reports, benchmarks),
Maintaining and managing TeamCity for development purposes.
Infrastrucutre management
Working with the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) – CloudDDC, tools supporting work in Unreal.
Development and other teams support
Facilitating the work of teams of artists and designers (e.g. automatic asset conversion, asset source file import and management pipelines),
Assistance with automation tools such as asset validation,
Faciliating access to builds, devkits, etc.,
Technical overview of UE projects (this is not a must have, rather a potential for development in the role)
Job requirements
Feel free to apply if you have:
4 Years’ experience as a DevOps or similar role,
Experience with Unreal Engine FTests/Gauntlet,
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and knowledge how to administer and manage TeamCity based CI in combination with Unreal Engine build graphs,
Experience with Helix Swarm,
Ability to read/create scripts in Python,
Experience with Perforce version control,
Good verbal and written English.
It would be also nice to have:
Some experience with unreal Horde buildsystem.
