About New Moon Production:

New Moon Production is a remote working Hamburg based studio, bringing new and exciting games to the market. Since its founding in 2016, it has released multiple games on different platforms, including the much beloved Sunshine Island, with around 12 million unique players already.

The Sunshine Island team (part of the BIG! franchise and Stillfront Group) is looking for a skilled LiveOps Game Designer to create and implement limited time events and content.

Your mission:

• Transform high level opportunities into concrete and well thought out limited time event designs.
• Implement that content in-game with Unity 3D.
• Craft the narrative design for the events within given boundaries for Sunshine Island.
• Create comprehensive UX designs, from wireframing to detailed UX implementation.
• Implement the final content design using the existing tools in Unity 3D (as conversation content under a quest system).
• Help ideating the recurring monthly events and take increasing autonomy as you develop.
• Collaborate with a wider group of seasoned game designers and bring innovative thinking.

Your backstory:

• Experienced with Unity 3D.
• Passion for and knowledge in F2P farming / simulation games (examples: Township, Hay Day, Klondike) and interest in games with deeper storytelling.
• Proven experience working in Live Ops / content design in existing games.
• Bachelor’s degree in game design, or related field.
• Independent and trustworthy; able to get things done in time.
• Open-minded, easygoing, communicative and willing to learn through constructive feedback.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Programming skills in C# are a big plus.
