    Nyx Studios is looking for a passionate marketing professional to help us share the stories we're building in The Nyxlands of Havoc and connect with the community that's growing around our universe.

    We're seeking someone who can work across both strategy and hands-on execution—someone who can think big picture while also ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details of content creation and brand storytelling. Together with our creative team, you will shape how we communicate our world-building to the people who will become part of our community and how to maintain a growing relationship with them.

     

    Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Build and manage our digital presence across Instagram, Discord, Twitter/X, YouTube, and wherever else our community lives.

    • Join our Creative Productions crew to learn our stories at the source level, then translate that into content that feels native to each platform. Think less "marketing copy" and more "how do we make people care about this world like we do?"

    • Write original copywriting and handle visual assets—suggest and brainstorm content ideas, write original copy, manage schedules, work with our artists on visuals, and hit publish regularly by managing a content calendar.

    • Keep us relevant and timely by connecting our content to what's happening in gaming, culture, and the platforms themselves. You'll spot opportunities we might miss.

    • Track what's working and what isn't with actual data. Build the systems that help us understand our impact and get better at reaching people.

    • Stay plugged into the network—content creator partnerships, media opportunities, industry conversations, cultural moments that we should be part of (or intentionally avoid).

     

    What we’re looking for:

    • 5 years of marketing experience in gaming, with indie or tabletop experience preferred. You understand how to build engaged communities around stories and interactive experiences.

    • Proven experience managing brand social channels—LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube—with demonstrated growth and engagement for diverse audiences.

    • Strong writing and storytelling skills that adapt well across platforms. You can tell a great story and can capture different tones while maintaining brand consistency. Experience with cosmic horror and dark sci-fi themes is a significant plus.

    • Intermediate Proficiency with Figma for content planning and asset coordination.

    • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution. You can develop comprehensive social strategies and manage the day-to-day details that make them successful.

    • Experience with social media analytics and performance measurement. You can interpret data to understand what's working and make informed recommendations.

    • Self-motivated and collaborative approach. You work well independently while partnering effectively with creative, marketing, and development teams.

    • Additional creative skills welcomed—video editing, 3D art, illustration, graphic design, voice work, or on-camera presence. These skills expand what we can create together.You've worked with performance marketing and can tell us not just how many people saw our stuff, but what it actually accomplished and how to iterate on these results.
