About the Role:

Location: Kraków – On-site (office only)
Contract: Full-time

Monopoly World is looking for a Global Community Manager who will take full ownership of building, managing, and scaling our player community across the world. This is a strategic and highly operational role for someone who can create a community vision from scratch and then execute it.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop the global community strategy for Discord, social channels, and community-driven initiatives.
  • Build a scalable structure for communication, moderation, events, and engagement.
  • Create tone-of-voice guidelines, community rules, and brand identity for all player-facing channels.
  • Lead the long-term vision for community programs, ambassador groups, and creator involvement.

Discord & Social Channel Management

  • Design the architecture of the Discord server (channels, bots, roles, automations).
  • Manage daily operations: announcements, events, moderation, partnerships, and player communication.
  • Oversee official social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube) in collaboration with marketing.
  • Track sentiment, identify risks early, and maintain a positive culture.

Player Engagement & Activation

  • Run weekly/monthly community activities: contests, missions, giveaways, AMA sessions, livestreams.
  • Develop programs for top players, ambassadors, volunteers, and influencers.
  • Work with the game design and product teams to create community-driven events and in-game connections.

Team Building & Management

  • Recruit and train moderators and community specialists as the player base scales.
  • Build internal processes for support, escalation, communication quality, and moderation standards.
  • Lead the team through KPIs, feedback, and performance reviews.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Game Design, Product, Support, Art, and LiveOps teams.
  • Provide insights on player sentiment, feature needs, and community risks.
  • Coordinate messaging for game updates, new features, bug status, and company announcements.

Community Analytics

  • Track and optimize KPIs: active users, engagement rate, channel growth, sentiment, retention, event performance.
  • Present actionable insights to leadership and propose improvements based on data.

Job requirements:

  • 3–5+ years experience in community management for games or large consumer brands.
  • Deep experience with Discord: bots, automations, roles, safety tools, structure, engagement.
  • Proven ability to build a community strategy and execute it independently.
  • Experience managing or moderating communities of 20,000+ members.
  • Strong communication skills in English (native-level tone management preferred).
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage a community/moderation team.
  • Understanding of gaming culture, influencer ecosystems, meme culture, and player psychology.
  • Crisis management skills — knows how to diffuse conflict and protect the brand.
  • Bonus: Experience in F2P mobile games, live operations, and influencer collaborations.
