What is this job all about?:
In the R&D team, our Data Scientists (f/m/d) help improve the gaming experience for our players. You’ll work hand-in-hand with product, design, and engineering teams to turn complex player data into deep analyses, experiments, and insights that shape what we build next. You’ll translate business and product questions into analytical problems and their results into clear recommendations.
What will you be doing?:
- Work end-to-end on analytical problems: understand product needs, collect requirements, plan process.
- Work with data engineers to design, build, and maintain game data pipelines aligned with reporting and analytics.
- Conduct complex exploratory and statistical analyses in Python and internal tools, including segmentations and sometimes clustering/modeling/simulating.
- Build visualizations and develop numerical intuition in non-data colleagues.
- Set KPIs and implement A/B tests to optimize player income.
- Organize work and support a junior, lead 1–2 meetings per week.
- Share insights proactively and suggest process improvements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or BI.
- Strong practical experience with Python and Git.
- Working knowledge of SQL (Postgres and Vertica).
- Data-driven mindset and strong analytical thinking.
- Proactive, self-motivated, results-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills with large datasets.
- Degree in a quantitative field.
- Passion for games and interest in gaming industry.
- Fluent in English and Polish.
Amaze us with:
- Experience with Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience building interactive dashboards with Streamlit.
- Familiarity with regression, classification, clustering.
- Experience in mobile gaming industry.
- Experience designing, running, analyzing A/B tests.
