Your Role:

  • Design, balance, and optimize the game’s economy, progression, and reward systems.
  • Create engaging player motivation loops across events, features, and monetization.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive ecosystem of LiveOps events, ensuring they work together rather than compete for player attention.
  • Design systems that improve retention, engagement, and monetization while preserving a great player experience.
  • Build and maintain economy models, balancing spreadsheets, and simulations.
  • Use data to identify player friction points, progression bottlenecks, and monetization opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, BI, UA, Art, and Development teams to improve game performance.
  • Analyze KPIs such as Retention, ARPDAU, Conversion, LTV, and Engagement to guide design decisions.
  • Drive feature and event improvements through continuous testing, iteration, and experimentation.
  • Clearly communicate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations across the team.

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and operating successful F2P mobile games.
  • Strong experience in systems design, economy design, progression design, and LiveOps.
  • Proven track record working on casual or puzzle games.
  • Deep understanding of player motivation, retention mechanics, and monetization design.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to design, execute and translate data (e.g. A/B tests) into actionable improvements.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience building balancing models.
  • Comfortable making decisions based on KPIs and player behavior.
  • Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities without waiting for direction.
  • Proficient in using AI tools for data analysis.
  • Deep passion for games.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Benefits:

  • Remote first - flexible working setup: fully remote or on-site in a modern office in central Berlin.
  • Flexible working hours, no crunch, no overtime.
  • Generous vacation regulation.
  • Home office allowance and monthly extra grant for home office electricity + internet costs.
  • Further training opportunities.
  • Studio: modern office in the center of Berlin (optional).
  • Equipment: choose between a MacBook Pro or Lenovo Laptop.
  • Meal allowances - a monthly budget for lunches.
  • Wellness benefits - access to virtual yoga, meditation, and more.
  • Swag (hoodies, bags, mugs, etc.) and twice-yearly offsite company retreats.
