Position:
Game Releases Specialist — join a small, versatile crew focused on flawless game releases, well-maintained catalog and ideas that contribute to GOG’s mission. The role requires handling multiple tasks and last-minute publisher requests while improving processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assure a high quality and timely release for each game.
- Coordinate releases and projects with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare game pages, including descriptions, graphics and metadata.
- Supervise other teams' input to each release (marketing, legal, financial, technical).
- Maintain games before and after launch; handle GOG catalog and publisher requests.
- Participate in company-wide projects providing team-related expertise.
- Search for innovations and ideas to improve daily work and enhance gamers' and publishers' experience with GOG.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills in English (at least C1).
- Ability to work with various stakeholders and manage conflicting priorities.
- Sense of urgency and ownership.
- Great interpersonal skills — diplomacy with assertiveness.
- Curiosity and innovation spirit; attention to detail; market and business-oriented.
- Sales, marketing or customer relations experience — a plus.
- Passion for PC games and the gaming industry.
- Basic HTML skills.
- Familiarity with Jira, Google Workplace and Microsoft Excel.
- Scripting / Jira automations / AI experience — a huge plus.
- General knowledge of hardware / software related to gaming.
